Lower Antelope Canyon

Booked a tour with @lower_antelope_canyon_tours and highly recommend them. We picked was 9:30 but if we did over again, we would've picked an earlier time like 8. The sun moves quickly in these parts and when you're in a slot canyon, proper lighting is everything (anything for the gram right 😉). I used my @lululemon Run All Day backpack to store a camelback (if I don't have water readily accessible, I won't drink and this forces me to stay well hydrated) and it has the perfect amount of space to carry my 5D Mark III and sunblock. I brought bug repellent but it's honestly not needed. My guess is in June, even the bugs think it's too hot. I do recommend bringing sunblock and a hat not for the actual canyon itself but for the walk to and from because it is 🌞😎🌞. Wear proper shoes. I wore hiking boots but Chan had sneakers on and he was totally fine in them. We did feel bad(ish) for the people wearing sandals and flats (ish because why, WHY would you wear sandals or flats?? Hello scorpions?). Also, if you're driving from Page, the nearby town, this area jumps from PST to MST, thus making the time jump 1 hour ahead but do not fret. The guys in Lower Antelope Canyon follow Page time (PST). Why do I bring this up? Well, we arrived at 8:25, thinking we were super early, then all our times changed to 9:25 in a blink of an eye. We panicked for nothing lol Hope these tips helped but if you have any questions, feel free to ask 🤗 .
